These models make full use of twin-pack and six-pack IGBTs and electronic packaging technology. As a result, they have a smaller footprint and lower parts count than competing "first-generation" IGBT-based products.THIS UPS IS STILL IN THE FACTORY SEALED WRAPPING Monitoring and control of the Series 600 are accomplished with a push button operated microprocessor system, personalized for your critical application. The LCD panel provides menu-driven instructions to lead you through start-up, transfers and many other control and monitoring operations. System control cabinet. A common cabinet holds the system level elements for the multi-module Series 600, allowing synchronization of all modules. A significant advantage of the control system is the ability to set or change system parameters by following the menu-prompted options. The system control cabinet, shown at left with circuit breakers, will control up to six Series 600 modules in parallel for up to 4000 kVA of capacity. Monitored parameters. Monitored system functions are easily reviewed on the large display screen. Monitored parameters are selected on the menu-driven screen, and the results are given in easy-to-understand diagrams and words. Module-level monitoring. Each module in a multi-module configuration is equipped with an individual monitor. These monitors are similar to the system control cabinet, but are located on the front of the module. Service diagnostics. The micro-processor system also saves pertinent information in memory, providing convenient diagnostics for service technicians. System events and alarm conditions are logged in the memory, providing a time-saving path for service and maintenance. Historical record. In the event of a change in UPS operation, the monitoring system will save the information, providing the opportunity for system trend analysis. Auto dial. The Series 600 even has a remot alarm reporting feature -- CIRS (Critical Information Reporting System). Through a user-supplied external modem, CIRS will call a remot VDT and/or printer under certain alarm conditions. For alarms such as output overvoltage, output undervoltage, overload transfer or other critical conditions, the system will call the user-programmed number and download the information. If it can't reach the first number, it will try a second number. CIRS will also answer incoming information requests from any terminal with a modem, or from a local ASCII terminal. A simple set of user commands prompt the system to download information from present status, history, or alarm history screens. SiteScan compatible. The Series 600 may also be connected to the Liebert SiteScan centralized monitoring system, for comprehensive monitoring of all of the computer-critical space.
