SquareTrade © AP6.0 Bid with confidence, you'll be dealing with an eBay Powerseller! Macintosh Portable 5120 (Non-Backlit) PDS 8mb RAM Card ONE (1) Vintage Macintosh Portable Laptop 8mb RAM Card. This is my last one! This will work in the original Macintosh Portable (Model #5120 - NON-BACKLIT). It will NOT work in the second model Macintosh Portable (Model # 5126 - BACKLIT). Using this card will expand your Macintosh Portable to have 9mb ram (8mb on this card, 1mb onboard). 9mb is the maximum ram a non-backlit Macintosh Portable can have! The card is "PSI" Branded. The card installs in the PDS slot. I added the home-made spaces between the daughterboards (these can easily be removed, but I'd just leave them where they are as they make the card more stable). This memory card has been tested in one of my non-backlit Macintosh Portables & has been found to be in good working order (see photo). It is sold "as-is", due to age & the fact I can't supervise installation. It is very important that you do the upgrade in a static free environment & that you remove both batteries and disconnect power before doing the upgrade.
