Based on Symbol's Wi-NG (Wireless Next Generation) architecture, P/N  WS-5100-42-WW The warranty on this unit expired 3/2007 I am not sure how much it would cost to place it under a new warranty program.  The unit turns on and powers up and the lights work on it but I am not able to connect it to something to tell you if there are any problems.  All parts are with it and it appears new.I purchased it with some other items and didn't need it at this time.
